1. Research and Development (R&D) and Formulation and Development (F&D)

Research and Development is the best option is most streams and Pharmacy is no different. You will need to have a masters degree in Pharmacy or even better a Ph.D. It will give you a chance to experiment on medical drugs and come up with new ones.

A related field involves analyzing existing drugs to find new and better working combinations. A better combination of two or more drugs can be more effective than any one of them. The initial payout is low but it catches on with time. You will need a specialization in Pharmaceuticals or Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

2. Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance and regulatory Careers

With a good master or Ph.D. degree, some experience and with good language skills, one can easily find a career or at least a source easily earned extra income in medical writing.

An M. Pharma degree with a good score will easily lend you with a lecturer job. If you have a passion for teaching, this is the field to go. It is one of the easier jobs and pay is good too but you need to get very good scores to find a career in this direction. You can take up lectures both full time as well as part-time

The sales and marketing field absorb the highest number of Pharmacy students. To be good at it, you need to have good language and persuasion skills besides a degree in pharmacy. If you love traveling a lot, this is the field to go. You will be talking to new customers every day.
